The Canadian Bison Association participated in SIAL Montreal 2007 from
March 28 – 30, 2007. Food industry professionals have branded SIAL Montreal as
“North America’s International Food Marketplace” Over 18,000 Agrifood
Industry professionals from 80 countries visited the show to view over 750 exhibits
from 40 countries.

“SIAL creates an opportunity for attendees to experience a taste of bison – this healthy,
tasty and naturally produced product that is a choice of many of today’s health conscious
consumers” according to Terry Kremeniuk, Executive Director of the Canadian Bison
Association.
A number of Canadian marketers and representatives of the Canadian Bison Association were on hand to represent the Canadian bison industry. This is a great opportunity to market bison to
a wide range of high level buyers from all sectors of the globe.

Chef David Biron prepared bison to give convention attendees the opportunity to
taste the sweetness of the meat and experience the richness of the sizzling bison aroma.
In addition to Chef David, there was industry representatives to answer questions and
identify opportunities to market bison to convention attendees.
