The Canadian Bison Association and four marketers – Rangeland Bison, Grande Prairie Bison, Canadian Prairie Bison and Carmen Creek Gourmet Meats – have partnered to participate in Canada Export Centre. The Centre's mandate is to generate more sales for the companies that they represent. A model utilized by many successful exporting nations around the world, it is widely referred to in regions with such a facility as the single most powerful sales and marketing tool available to the exporter.
Working alongside partners in industry and government, each month the Canada Export Centre welcomes thousands of conference and trade show attendees, as well as trade mission delegations, business travelers and local businesspeople, to discover and engage in trade with its Member-Exhibitors.
Located in Vancouver’s downtown business and hotel district at 602 West Hastings Street within two blocks of the World Trade Centre and the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Canada Export Centre is a permanent, high-profile export sales and exhibition facility. With more than 17,000 sq/ft showcasing hundreds of Canadian products and services, and actively building connections, relationships and sales for its clients, this facility is Canada’s premiere physical destination for the international trade professional. Member-Exhibitors gain sales generation activities and exposure that would otherwise be unavailable.
Vancouver International Airport welcomes more than 8 million international arrivals each year, not including cross-border visits of over 6 million, and with the 2010 Winter Olympics on the horizon, even more eyes will be focused on doing business with Canada through Vancouver.
The Canada Export Centre exists to ease the barriers of international trade for its Member-Exhibitors and increase the awareness of international guests to all of the excellent trade opportunities that have been right here all along.
