Jeremy Gingerich

Since 1999, Jeremy Gingerich has practiced progressive and regenerative management on ranches in Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, and New Mexico, ranging from 18,000 - 585,000 acres, including some of the most diverse and critical wildlife habitat in the Northern and Southern Rockies. Jeremy’s experience with bison began as a Turner Ranch manager in 2007 in southwest Montana.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has used a holistic approach recognizing the complex dynamics entwining land and wildlife conservation and sustainable commerce, including working landscapes, forestry and fire ecology, human communities, livestock, wildlife, fisheries, riparian systems, conventional and alternative energy production, and the human need for open space and natural areas for personal meaning and sustainable agricultural enterprises.

Jeremy has served in several leadership roles within the Turner organization, including Ranch Manager at Red Rock Ranch, Assistant General Manager at Vermejo Park Ranch, and as Division Manager and Director of Ranch Operations based in the Bozeman, MT administration office. Since January 1, 2024, Jeremy has served as Vice-President and Director of Land Operations for Turner Enterprises, Inc. and the Turner Institute of Ecoagriculture. He is part of the leadership team stewarding 1.9 million acres, over 150 team members, and more than 40,000 bison on 14 ranches in Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kansas, and South Dakota.

A B.S. in Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism with a Minor in Conservation Biology from Colorado State University, a M.S. in Ranch Management from the King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management, and the study and practice of Holistic Management provide the foundation of his approach to ranch management.

Jordan Johnson


Jordan Johnson is a current PhD student at the University of Saskatchewan evaluating copper supplementation strategies for sheep and cattle consuming high sulfate water under Dr. Greg Penner’s supervision. After receiving her BSc in Animal Bioscience at the University of Saskatchewan, she continued on to complete her MSc in Animal Science in 2019 with Dr. Penner focusing on finishing cattle nutrition. After working briefly is a research technician, Jordan relocated to Swift Current where she worked for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture first as an Agri-environmental Specialist, and later as a Livestock and Extension Specialist. During her time spent in academia and extension, Jordan has focused on sustainable livestock management and applied nutrition with topics ranging from cereal grain processing, feeding by-products, alkaline forage treatment, and water quality.

Jeph Maystruck

Jeph has an utter disregard for the status quo. As a dynamic keynote speaker on marketing and social media, he brings fresh perspectives with energy, humour, and a pocketful of lottery tickets. Co-founder of Strategy Lab, a Regina-based marketing agency, Jeph is also the co-founder of Big Idea Camp and The Honest Conference. A passionate educator, he’s taught at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the University of Regina. Beyond marketing, he’s technically a DJ, his online name is DJ Clumsy Vegetarian, with 100+ tracks on Soundcloud, but his most cherished role is being a dad to his two young kids.

Kendall Ballantine

At the age of 27, Kendall ditched the power suits of her corporate career, as Director of Operations in grocery supply chain, for a life in gumboots on the farm when she opened her business Central Park Farms. Fast forward, and nine years later Central Park Farms employs a small team and is a growing direct-to-consumer producer of beef, pork, and chicken supplying the Metro Vancouver market.

Having won ‘Farmers Market Vendor of the Year’ from the BC Association of Farmers Markets and the ‘Under 40 Entrepreneur of the Year’ award from the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce, Kendall’s passion is in helping other farmers and food producers gain the tools to grow their businesses for long-term success.
