Bison French Dip
Ingredients
- 1 Bison roast (any size or cut)
- 1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
- Water (1/4 - 1 Cup depending on size of the roast)
Directions
- Place roast in cooking bag or dutch oven.
- Sprinkle soup mix over top
- Pour water over all, making certain that the mix is not washed off the top of the roast
- Place in 275 - 300 degrees F.
- Cook to suit your taste
- Be certain to cover tightly
- A delicious juice will form. You may thicken with cornstarch for gravy or serve as is.
- Slice roast thin and serve on french roll with a copy of au jus on the side.
