Sharif, owner of Tatanka Plains, finishes and markets bison locally in BC.
Sharif’s background is in Consulting and Supply Chain Management; he has worked in Asia, Africa and Europe. Sharif holds a B.Sc. in Business Management, an MBA from Switzerland, and the Canadian designation SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional).
Sharif is passionate about wildlife, he volunteered in field conservation projects with Parks Canada in Banff National Park, and also holds a Diploma in Wildlife and Forestry Conservation. He got involved in the Bison Industry in 2012 and is mainly focusing on promoting and conservation of Bison and supporting the Canadian Bison Industry. Sharif is married with 2 boys, his young family loves outdoors and wilderness.
