Bison Chili, Entrees

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Ground Bison
  • 3 Medium Onions, sliced
  • 1-2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 can (15 oz) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste
  • 1-2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 cans (25 oz) Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 can of drained Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup Cold Water

Instructions:
In a large dutch oven, brown the ground bison with 3 tbsp vegetable oil. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and simmer for 2-3 hours. Serves 4-6.
