Hello Fellow Bison Enthusiasts -
My name is Brian Newton along with my wife Amanda and our two children (Brianna and Ashton), we own and operate Bison Coulee Contracting. We started out as a Pipeline Contracting Business, but every day off we were trying to build a Bison Operation. We bought our first 10 cows off of my Aunt & Uncle in 2003 for $500 each, and it took us a few years to pay off that loan. While I worked away from home, Amanda would feed the animals and keep an eye on them. Building our herd up over many years, we now have around 100 cows; and we also operate a custom feedlot for Bison and Beef. It has become a full time operation for both of us, with help from Brianna and Ashton. I look forward to working in the Bison Industry for many years to come. I thank everyone for this opportunity, and I will do my best to advocate for the long term sustainability of the Bison Industry.
