Maria brings more than 10-year experience in office administration. She graduated on top of her class and was a student leader. Right after taking her bachelors degree, she served as Head of Office in the social welfare department of her hometown for several years. She was eventually hired by a bigger nonprofit organization where she spent almost 5 years managing a team that delivers services throughout a much wider geographical scope in her home country. In all those years, she made sure to continually equip herself by pursuing higher studies which include masteral units, short management courses and even law school.
In 2019, she decided to pursue a certificate program in accounting. She went to Centennial College Business School in Scarborough, Ontario. Thereafter, she joined the finance team of one of the multi-national companies in Toronto. Prior to joining CBA, she worked in a local company in Regina as an Office Manager and Bookkeeper.
She believes that excellence should not be a standard but a way of life. She describes herself as goal driven and passionate in everything that she does. She is excited to be part of an organization such as CBA whose mission and advocacies impact the whole of Canada.
Maria is happily married to Jude whom she has 3 adorable children: Rian, Juco and Ben.
