Scott Yule joined the Canadian Bison Association as Executive Director in September, 2024.
Scott was born and raised on a mixed farm near Grenfell, Saskatchewan. He obtained a diploma and bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. He has spent his career in agriculture and financial services. During his career he has lived in 4 different provinces and has had responsibilities in all 10. He has worked in operations, marketing and risk management.
Scott has developed strong leadership, business planning, communication, finance, and strategic thinking skills that were developed through his career. Through his extensive experience in various roles of increasing responsibility, and through his strong collaboration skills, Scott led many different teams to achieving their goals.
Scott enjoys volunteering and travel. He is married to Janice and is a proud parent of three grown children and two grandchildren.
