Bison Meatballs in Cranberry Sauce

Third Place Winner in the Hors D'Oeuvres category of the 2010 Recipe Roundup Contest.

Ingredients:

Meatballs

  • 2 lbs Ground Bison
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 Small, finely diced onion

Sauce

  • 1 16 oz can Jellied Cranberry Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Prepared Horseradish
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions:
Mix meatball ingredients together and shape into bite size balls. Brown in oil.

Mix sauce ingredients together. Bring to a boil, reduce and simmer covered for 5 minutes. Add meatballs and serve.
