Goulash Soup

  • 2 lbs buffalo meat cut in small pieces
  • 2 large chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 2 yellow peppers, chopped

Fry the above in 2 tbsp. oil until brown.

Add:

  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp. (30 ml) flour
  • 6 cups (1.5 l) water or soup broth
  • 2 tsp. (10 ml) paprika
  • 2 large potatoes cut into small pieces

Dash of cayenne pepper

Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes. You can also add mushrooms, red wine and cream at the end if desired.
